Depot Boijmans

This weekend we came to the legendary, super hit and famous archive warehouse in this world_Depot Boijmans! wow!!(my husband is screaming)😹
We sort of passing by this huge modern building once last year, by then it was still under construction, but we were definitely been amazed by such avant-garde architecture which standing in the city center of Rotterdam.
However, after I step inside this human made weird creation today, I dunno how to describe my feeling about this.... I probably would say ... it's cool...(and meanwhile rolling my eyeballs.)  No matter how people recommend this place, and how amazing they stored those treasure artworks from century to current.  No questioning it's a cutting age design bla bla bla, I must say sorry I just cannot be so excited about this, it's just an archive storage after all, and I believe there are million of archive storages they all functioning the same, the only difference is people cannot get inside to take a look at it.  but seriously, If there were options between to see the artworks been curated in museum, and the other you can be able to see the artworks been wrapping safely stored in the shelf, what will you choose? 🙄

plus, I really do not understand whats the special about this silver bowl building. It's says the design were inspired from the aluminum water kettle and a cereal bowl  which they spotted in the meeting room. Very spontaneous, isn't it? Then later spent years and years to build up this giant pot. For me this building doesn't look like a pot at all, Its  more like silver rice bowl to please those fancy people who born and been fed with golden spoon. I can't help to give this pot another name regarding there are so many eye delicious treasure inside the bowl, I rename it _De Poke Bowl. and I am looking forward what else the essential living tool become a building in this country.
