48 hrs in London, and no tea at all

Almost Exactly one month ago, me and my husband went to London for a little adventure, even though we only spent 48 hours there. but Its really nice to feel the urban and busy city life, doing some guiltless shopping (though my babe wont agree with it) , eating GOOD food (I am very surprise too, turn out British has became the nation of the global taste of food).
I should had wrote this travel diary long time ago, but I felt is not urgent, also I rather spent time on my painting than sit front my laptop typing hours for a article which possibly only me would read it.
So why am I doing this now? because our house is finally started the kitchen renovation yesterday, and the noise is over my tolerance limit to stay home for work. so I am now sitting in the starbucks which about 500 meter away from home, trying to kill some times, in the meanwhile still sort of productive , such as ...how about finally update my blog which I pay the domain every month and very occasionally use it?🫣

I don't know how to write a beautiful travel diary anymore. instead of using lot of sentences and difficult words to pile up many paragraphs, I am now preferring simply listing some hearted moment I experienced in London.

  • I kept singing London Fridge Falling Down cuz I feel its funny.
  • -The first place we visited in London after we drop off our suitcase in hotel is British Museum. because I am an Artist I must go there to absorbing the nutrition juices from those long death artists.
  • No! the first place we visited was fish and chips store for lunch, and stepped in an art shop in front of the British museum , where I spent 66 ponds for a 70 cm long big painting brush which I realized its made in Germany.
  • We seen the special expo called Legion: life in the Roman army. and according their recruit stander I am 3 cm short to be able to apply become a soldier back in 625 BC.
  • The most famous stationary store_Choosing Keeping is ran by Japanese, and the whole store has 2/3 product from Japan, and they are very expensive. however I insisted to buy two party animal toys which made from Germany AGAIN. (am I too loyal for Germany?)
  • On the way to China Town spotted an Artisian Bakery, which looking very cozy, and their cinnamon buns looks like art. however we didn't go inside for a try, because my taiwanese stomach would rather spent the money for a Beijing duck. beautiful things are usually not satisfying…
  • Forgot to mention Its Chinese new year eve _ the date we were in London. (9th Feb. 2024)
  • London China town has lot of fake ding tai fong. thank god we will going to the real one.
  • We had Kanada-Ya raman for dinner (Hanako recommend us ), and I want to buy their kinky weird shopping tote as souvenir (a long wavy hair asian woman eating curled noodled image), however it sold out. (yes I like to spent money for those little stuff)
  • Chinese dragon cake looks super adorable.
  • M&S is heaven to me. so many fancy packages stuff, we swing by it to got some drinks on our way back to hotel. later when I laying on the bed, I spend hour researched what must try/buy from M&S supermarket.
  • Our hotel offered very decent British breakfast, lot of bacons, scramble eggs, mini sausages, and HASH BROWN! I just love this kind of unhealthy breakfast so much. fuk those boring and icy cold European yogurt and cereal.
  • Tate Britain is so much more inspiring than Modern. I am definitely an old sport.
  • There are some painting ideas I got them after visited the Tate Britain. Holly ginger boy naked replace those woman _art nouveau style / Gothic Rich Bitches / re-create David Hockney's gay swimming pool_ using same color scheme applies for another object.
  • passing by an gallery , showing very adorable clay sculptures by Japanese artist. Dunno who he/she is, but very very cute.
  • Marylebone Daunt Books, totally tourist spot. they category taiwanese authors with korean in same shelves. very interesting.
  • Spent 50 ponds for a shopping bag which printed London X Monocle.
  • Spotting another fancy and long queue Bakery_buns from home. which sell cinnamon buns with all sort of flavors. (Operated by Japanese again, I wonder what real British people doing for food industry in UK) I still didn't give it a try. very tempted.
  • Ding Tai Fong for our Taiwanese New Year dinner. Baby said its the most expensive Ding Tai Fong restaurant we spend for dinning so far.
  • Night walk to the Tate Modern.... not really special , what I only remembered was I am looking for toilet to pee. but there are no toilet and my babe forbid me pee by the bridge.
  • Just before we flying home, we visited the Big Ben, feel like we should at least go take look with our bare eyes. and we seem it, and we heard it bell for clock. done.
  • Oh ! one last 2 things before we get to airport was walking around the street with those luxury brands  just because I want to go to issey miyake to see /try the men skirt I saw from their 2024 ss runway show. but they dont have it. also the sale persons seen very snobbish. And we took a classic beetle taxi to M&S supermarket  (close to hotel) for my last shopping.

Asking me a question how I feel about London? I would say ..... Perfect place for shopping things made in Germany.
