Summer Holiday At Home 2024

I've been thinking to write this diary weeks ago to memorize what we had done this summer, however I just couldn't make a peaceful mind and put down my thoughts into hundred of words. Somehow Its exhausted me by just think of it.
Now in this very moment, I am visiting my parent in Taiwan, suddenly I noticed I really don't  have much things to do here, how about very quickly finish this diary so then I can move on to the next.
Our summer holiday this year was pretty affordable actually, We had just finished a big renovation for the kitchen and living room, everything are exactly what we asked for, I couldn't find a reason to spent a lot of money to rent a holiday house somewhere else but not chill at our own home. so we decided to imagine we are two travelers first time came visit Eindhoven, and we lived in a very fancy and super zen B&B, (which is our house), we even wrote down a long list of what we called it discover new things everyday, incase we suddenly got too bored lol.
Here are the things we had achieved this summer, plus some opinions of mine:

  • Theme park_ Efteling:  About the rollercoasters, we need to queue at least 20 mins, but only have fun more then less 40 secs, Its feel like when I just about to screaming but its already finished.
  • Eindhoven Summer Fair: Never ever ask Niclas to join the ride for the spinning facility. He might get concussion.
  • Safari Park At Tilburg: There are so many elephants, and giraffes! I found its very relaxing to admire lot of wild animal in short distance. plus its really not far from home.
  • Explore Sectie C: mmmm very boring place. no comment
  • Fine dining at Ten Tables: pricy, taste very so so, small portion, crowded, very pretentious, cook very slow.
  • Kevne Expo: Local indie art, not my thing.
  • 2 days in Bruges: Its like Amsterdam but less tourist, but full of chocolate stores. Not sure why people gave such high reviews for this place.
  • Mika Babe Try Saffron Matcha: No comment.
  • Lunch At Nova: pricy, tiny portions, very decorative plate arrangement. Perfect spot for snobby person sitting there having a brunch date with snobby friends.
  • Turkish Restaurant : I love Manti_ Tiny little shoa long boa (小籠包)
  • Discover India Lemon Rice: Niclas his colleague Aditti invited us over for dinner, and she show me the most amazing india rice dish I had ever have.

Okay! To summarize this summer holiday at home, I think its nice we spent some times to explore our neighborhood, but I also feel very disappointed about the neighborhood around us, especially restaurants.  mmmmmmm I probably not fair enough only blame our neighborhood, I should blame entire country _the Netherlands. please Jaron remember this, do go anywhere else for holiday, but never ever spent holiday in this country.
