Sleeping and Metalworking at Muliangzu

Muliangzu(木樑作) is my surprising found through Airbnb when I plan the trip to Tainan. In the beginning I got attracted by the simplicity and nostalgia Taiwanese style, not even knowing this space was sharing with a metalworking studio!
The host Joanne is a very sweet lady, also she is a mother with 4 lovely dogs. She informing me that I could experience the metalworking during my stay, I am super excited because I have always wanted to make one jewelry which totally made out of my two hands. The workshop took around 3-4 hours depends on quick you work, and how complicated design you choose. For me I decided to make a bracelet with one single twist in the middle, plus some water ripples effect on the surface. They allowing me to engraving some personal text on the bracelet, not took me very long I had made my decision. I engraved a quote which I been thinking to made out a painting for while ago, It's saying "Ugly Solution". It's may not make any sense to you so far, but I promise I will explain it to you one day.😙
